To say that UP-Tuks are the giants of Varsity Football would be to state the obvious as no team has achieved the amount of success they have since the inception of the competition.
Then again, they are also one of just three teams who have competed in every edition of the competition but two consecutive trophies in three editions is something will potentially not be repeated anytime soon.
They amassed 13 victories, drew three matches and lost just five encounters in the 21 round robin matches over the three years. Their play-off record is something special as well – four victories and just one loss (2015) from their five knockout fixtures.
We take a look at what they have achieved in each of their three years!

Tuks headed to Mafikeng for their semi-final encounter and emerged 5-4 victors on penalties, after the match finished goalless to book their spot in the final against UJ in Johannesburg. It was sweet revenge for them as they handed UJ a 1-0 defeat to retain their title.
This was arguably the most frustrating year, despite matching their 2014 results, as inconsistency plagued their game throughout the campaign.
